ROLES

DPS

  • Jovial Deception (JD) is a ranged SD Physical DPS with a unique ability to instantly trigger an SD enemy's stardust explosion.
  • Her bosses don't appear as frequently anymore. As a general dps, she loses to new characters who have better mechanics and rotations.

WoDestiny Support
Currently not the best support for any WoD team. Getting Stellar Drain is also slow.

Law of Ascension Support
Jovial Deception is a great LoA support. Her sequence is a lot faster in LoA teams.

PULL RECOMMENDATION

F2P Players
Currently, there is no known way to get JD as F2P.

Battle Pass

  • You can get JD and her weapon from Battle Pass (Knight or Paladin tier).
  • Currently, the other S-ranks in BP are Lone Destruction and Schicksal Imperative. Take a look a their guide page before finalizing your decision. Personally, I would save the crystallum and wait for Vita to be added in 8.9 BP (25 June 2026).

Competitive
JD is currently used more as LoA support than dps.
