ROLES

DPS

  • Reign Solaris (RS) is a powerful Physical IMG DPS with huge shieldbreak.
  • IMG Counter: RS has multiple skills that can transfer damage from IMG shell to seed.

Part 1 Physical Support
RS is the best support for Part 1 Physical teams, replacing Prometheus Terminal Aide.

  • RS gives around 30% increased damage output than Terminal Aide.
  • RS provides shieldbreak and can inflict stun trauma.

Law of Ascension Support
For LoAscension teams, RS provides shieldbreak and stun, which are not used anywhere currently. RS is not the best support for other LoA valks (Badum, Peregrine Sword).

Wheel of Destiny Support
RS does not offer any improvement for existing WoDestiny lineups. Good support for Jovial Deception, provides Crit DMG.

Grail of Infinitude Support
For GoInfinitude teams, RS provides shieldbreak and stun, which are not used anywhere currently.

PULL RECOMMENDATION

New / F2P Players
Not recommended. Due to how Part 2 meta works (all valks are kinda balanced on release and have their own niche) and how patches are longer (Monthly players can afford S-rank fullgear every patch, f2p can get S-rank fullgear every one or two patches), it’s better to
- Save until you can guarantee valk + fullgear,
- Then get the latest valk early in the patch.

Whales / Competitive
Just like most recent Part 2 valks, RS still has her niche. Whether you can get her, is up to your wallet. Still, prioritize getting new valks first before even considering getting RS.

  • As support: RS is still the best Part 1 Physical support. Not the best support in any other Part 2 teams.
  • As DPS: RS is a really good Physical / IMG DPS. BUT currently, RS DPS is missing bosses in Abyss. This might be because JD currently has a game-breaking bug (and RS uses JD support), so miHoYo is avoiding any bosses that involve JD support. She can still be used in Arena.

  • Reign Solaris: Battlesuit Supply.
  • Valorous Effulgence: Equipment Supply.
  • Durandal Stigma: Equipment Supply, Forgeable.
